1. Is this a greenhouse kit?
   Yes, the house is all pre-cut, pre-drilled and ready to assemble. Assembly time is relative to a customer’s ability. Complete assembly instructions are included.

2. Does the Classic Hideaway™ need a foundation?
   No, it does not require a concrete foundation. The customer provides a treated wooden frame that the greenhouse sits on. The wood frame is then anchored to the ground with ground anchors (provided by customer).

3. Can this greenhouse be moved?
   Yes, it can be taken apart and moved. This house is considered portable. The house can weigh up to 700 lbs depending on which model is purchased.

4. Does the Classic Hideaway™ need to be heated?

   If it is to be used on a year round basis, supplemental heat is necessary to keep the
   temperature above freezing. This house is also excellent as a cold house.

5. How should it be heated?
   Gas, electric or radiant heaters are all possible heat sources depending on what is
   most accessible and economical for you.

6. What is included in the basic price?
   All aluminum frame, 8mm hi-clarity polycarbonate, all necessary hardware
   (excluding ground anchors), single swing door, and two manual roof vents.

7. Why is hi-clarity polycarbonate important?
   Hi-clarity polycarbonate offers twice the distance in flute spacing compared to standard 8mm polycarbonate and 2 1/2 times more distance than competitors using 4 or 6mm polycarbonate. This gives greater visibility value than competitors.

8. How does polycarbonate hold up to weathering?
   The 8mm Polycarbonate has a light transmission of 82% with an R-Value of 1.69. It carries a 10-year pro-rated manufacturer’s warranty and comes standard with an anti-condensate coating.The surface of the polycarbonate is protected from the degradation effects of UV radiation by a proprietary co-extrusion process. Beneficial infra-red light passes through promoting an ideal growth environment. In situations where hail is present, 8mm polycarbonate is advantageous for safety purposes.

9. What type of flooring should be used in my greenhouse?
   Walkways can be dressed up with brick pavers, flagstone or the like. The advantage of the gravel floor is water can drain into the gravel and help humidify your greenhouse. A concrete floor can be used but you might need a drainage design.
