In 2007, Arcadia GlassHouse was contracted to design and build a custom greenhouse for the Henry Ford Estate in Dearborn, Michigan. The original
wooden-framed structure had deteriorated beyond repair, but the existing stone kneewall was in good condition. Using old photos and field
measurements, Arcadia was able to custom build a new aluminum framed, glass greenhouse that matched the original size, shape and dimensions.
Estate owners were happy to have an authentic replica greenhouse design with new, high quality greenhouse materials and efficiencies.
